DELROY KINCAID: Interactive Talks and Workshops with schools and libraries

We have been invited to speak interactively with students as young as middle school up to university level. As the film has no dialogue, it is accessible to any Francophone, Anglophone and anyone from any other language. It is a universally accessible film.

The National Film Board of Canada jointly created a lesson plan with the filmmakers which is available as a bonus with the DVD.

We have been invited to speak at film festivals, middle schools, high schools, Ski Hill Blues-an organization run by retired Canadian policemen-that introduces new immigrant kids to the  experience of the outdoors and winter sports.

We were invited to the Spoke Club and the Chicago International Children's Film Festival to première Delroy Kincaid and selected to speak with children as part of the 'Directors In Schools' program.

At the time the festival was the only Academy Award qualifying children's film festival in the world.

Personally being a kid at heart with a love of fantasy, science and science fiction and exploration, I love to hear kids thoughts on movies and what they want to be when they grow up.

Within a short About Me video I talk to them about travelling to different countries with my parents, my lifelong dream to walk under Mount Kilimajaro to discover my past and distant roots and play Mozart's Clarinet Concerto on the African plains while surrounded in the dark by hyena, lions and elephants.

I sometimes talk about my experiences on three swim teams as a child and skydiving, hangliding and driving a race car. If needed my small team of actors, animators and crew can be along.
